FRANCIS CLEELAND

Francis, the son of William Cleeland and Charlotte born at Killinchy, County Down in Ireland in 1833.

Francis married Sarah Jane Moore on the 6th. of March 1860. The sister of Sarah, namely Mary Moore, married Joseph Cleeland in 1857 (the brother of Francis). The parents of Sarah and Mary were John Moore and Ellen Carroll. They arrived in Australia on the 19th. of October 1838 on the ship "The Mandarin". John came from Banbridge, County Down and Ellen from Hyde Park, County Down.

Francis and Ellen had a large family. I have not researched these details but I believe them to be as follows:
